Mine is the story of a very lucky woman who was fortunate to own and run a company with her two best friends for many years. That company, Plain Jane, made beautiful furniture and bedding for kids in New York City. But like all good things, our shop came to an end in November of 2006 and later that month my family and I moved from
Manhattan to beautiful Park Slope, Brooklyn.

Discovering that Park Slope, and Brooklyn
in general, offered very little to its families in the way of bedding, furniture and home accessories, the choice to open a shop seemed natural. So...
PICKLEBOOTS was born in April of 2007.

Catering to the crafty, creative and independent spirited folks of Brooklyn has allowed me to bring in fabrics and colors that would not have been possible in Manhattan. I've also added a great collection of gifts & toys to round out the selection.
I'm looking forward to being a vital resource to the families of Brooklyn and all those who need bedding & furniture for their kids!
