Who is pickleboots?
1 gal, 2 sewing machines, a counter that doubles as a cutting table, lots of fabrics, stuffing and trim all in 100 square feet. The Pottery Barn Kids I’m not, but what I am is a  totally unique, creative, and fun experience that challenges you to think small…like your kids!

Mine is the story of a very lucky woman who was fortunate to own and run a company
with her two best friends for many years. That company, Plain Jane, made beautiful furniture and bedding for kids in New York City. But like all good things, our shop came to an end in November of 2006 and later that month my family and I moved from Manhattan to beautiful Park Slope, Brooklyn.

Discovering that Park Slope and the city in general still offered very little to its families in the way of custom bedding and accessories, the choice to relaunch a bedding company on my own seemed natural. So… PICKLEBOOTS was born in April of 2007.

By catering to crafty, creative & independent spirited folks I have been able to bring in fabrics and color combinations that blend and bend modern and traditional style. I’ve also added a great collection of gifts to round out the selection. I look forward to being a vital resource to those families who want and need creative bedding for their kids.
